Hi all!

I'm a little late on joining this forum but I had been using this form since I first started filling out the applications for my husband. Here's our timeline so far:

8/26/2016 - met my husband

10/14/2016 - started dating my husband officially

3/18/2017 - got married (when you know, you know :P)

8/26/2017 - Sent I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-864 application packet to Chicago lockbox via USPS (coincidentally, it was our 1 year anniversary from the first day we met)

8/28/2017 - Delivered to the Chicago office on 8/28/2017

9/8/2017 - We received NOA for all 3 apps with a notice date of 9/5/2017

9/15/2017 - Biometrics appointment letter received with notice date of 9/10/2017

9/29/2017 - Biometrics appointment scheduled for this date

10/18/2017 - Case status online for I-485 changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "case ready to be scheduled for interview" (other 2 applications still show "case was received as of 8/28/2017")

Anybody else with a similar timeline? Good luck to all of us! Hope all August filers see their case status updated within a day or 2! :)

Namaste !

Most of them are getting their interview schedules and also hoping they also start sending out EADs soon

Thank you so much and Happy Diwali to you and your spouse as well! Wish this Diwali gives us all peace of mind :)

also, I saw that yours was a k-1 Visa so it might be a bit quicker in processing. My husband was a B1/B2 Visa originally so I think they said those take a tiny bit longer?

I don't think there will be any difference in timeframe and the visa you are adjusting from because as told by @AriK2000 is adjusting from F-1 and he sent his AOS package on August 22nd and his status is updated about interview being scheduled soon and myself, a K-1 applicant filed on August 8th have no update on AOS and it's still shows "We received your fingerprint........".

Oh I'm sorry! I didn't realize you hadn't seen that update yet for your 1-485 application. I hope you hear very soon!

Yayyyyyyyy

I just checked the uscis website and my status is also changed to 'Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview'!

(I had to newly access the website though. There was a tab that I had opened for a few days. It did not work when I refreshed the tab. So I opened a new tab and checked my status there and it was changed!)

I wonder what this means... people are getting this altogether. I hope it means at least now it is going to the field office!

------

4th Aug, Package sent (485, 765, 131)
8th Aug, Package delivered
15th Aug, Three texts/emails received
16th Aug, Check withdrawn
21st Aug, Three NOAs received
23rd Aug, Status checking available on USCIS website
25th Aug, Biometrics appointment letter received
5th Sep, Biometrics done
18th Oct, Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview
