Received a RFIE on Saturday that says the following:

1. Submit all supporting tax documentation (W-2s, 1099s, Form 2555, and all supporting tax schedules) submitted to the Internal Revenue Service for the most recent tax year.

The petitioner/sponsor must submit all supporting tax documents for the most recent tax year.

2. Based on the documents submitted with Form 1-864, Affidavit of Support, for the joint sponsor, the income did not meet 125% of the poverty guideline for the joint sponsor's household size.
Submit evidence of assets that meet the standards listed below or obtain a different joint sponsor.

We initially sent my wife's transcript only, we made a mistake of not sending the other forms (required because she is self-employed).

So we responded to the RFIE by submitting required forms and schedules and also included a joint sponsor as a backup.

You didn't submit tax return at all? Make sure to send all forms and schedules as well (1040, 1099 and all schedules).

Would you mind sharing what was written on your RFE?

Update: Today I checked my online status and my case is now ready to be scheduled for an interview! My PD is August 23, biometrics done on Sep 15. Setting aside the problem with USPS failing to deliver my notices (I called and submitted a SR which has not been assigned to an officer yet), this probably means that no RFEs and my filings are complete!

As of September 26, 2017, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXX, for an interview. Haha this is going to make me check our case's status on the USCIS website even more often!!

I signed up for an account with USCIS and receive a text message/email whenever my case is updated. This way I don't feel so nervous and constantly check my case online.

Aug 22 AOS package (I-485, I-130, I-131) sent to Chicago lockbox
