That's right...even though we all will file for ROC in different months but I will make sure I will look for you all !!!!

8/14/17 --- AOS sent I-485, I-765, I-131

8/16/17 --- AOS Packet received Chicago USCIS Day 0

8/21/17  --- Received email & text notification 

8/23/17  --- Received hard copy of NOA  

9/01/17  --- Biometrics letter notice for I-485 & I-765 & I-131  

9/11/17  --- Biometrics Appointment Done

10/17/17 - Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

11/30/2017 - EAD/AP Approved
12/01/2017 - Card in Production
12/05/2017 - Received Approval Notice in the Mail

I just received a reply back from Congress. 

Uscis had told them that my case is within normal time as they are working on cases that they received in May?? And when I check uscis website it says that “my” office approved July fillers on the 31st December. So that must mean that they are working on august?? As it is not february.  I am so confused.

Hey Guys! Called back and spoke to a Tier 2 Officer today. They said my case is 181 days old and 1 day over the normal processing times. She put in an inquiry for me. Lets see where this takes us...

When did you file for your AOS ? did you receive any RFIE or RFE ?

August 24th. I haven't received a thing! And I did my biometrics at the beginning of September.

Sometimes I wonder how different my current process would be if only I had waited one more day to file. The randomness in the current process doesn’t play in our favor. One day or even two months later could have made the process entirely different for us. But we got to be the unlucky ones in this one. Lol 

Timeline (From B2 visa to AOS)


July 15, 2016 -> Got married
August 3, 2017 -> Mailed AOS packet (I-130, I-485, I-765)
August 4, 2017 -> Package received
August 14, 2017 -> NOA for I-130 and I-485 (not I-765... called multiple times to ask about this but was told to wait)
August 25, 2017 -> NOA for Biometrics Appt (I-485)
August 30, 2017 -> Sent email asking to look for I-765 (My I-765 was LOST)
September 8, 2017 -> Biometrics Appt for I-485
September 26, 2017 -> Received email from USCIS I-765 found and PD August 4
October, 2017 -> NOA for I-765 and Tier 2 officer cancelled 2nd biometrics

November 3, 2017 -> Raised SR online for I-765

December 11, 2017 -> SR showed as "completed" by the assigned officer

January 8, 2018 -> Name was updated 

January 18, 2018 -> interview scheduled

But I seriously don't get it. Can someone please explain to me..... USCIS said that my case is in normal process.... They said that "my" field office is currently interviewing applicants from May 2017 which makes no sense as I have seen several in here that applied in July via the same field office and they had their GC approved in November. 
Does this mean that my I485 is still with NBC?? I mean, I don't even have my EAD yet. 

When I sent my application, did it first go to NBC, do they then send it to my field office? Who sends the EAD? My field office or NBC?

According to USCIS the EADs’ processing time is October 2017. I haven’t even received my EAD either and I filed back in August 4th. I’m with you in this long wait!
