April 24, 2017       = Appointment Interview

May 1, 2017         = Visa on Hand (Status "Approved" April 27 or 28)

May 3, 2017         = CFO

May 11, 2017       = Arrival in the US

June 20, 2017      = Married!!!

Adjustment of Status | SF

August 11, 2017   = Sent out to Chicago PO Box

August 14, 2017   = Arrived at Chicago PO Box

August 15, 2017   = Case was received status

August 17, 2017   = 3 Email/Text notifications - Case sent to NBC

August 21, 2017   = NOA1 in mail for all 3

September 1, 2017 = Received Biometrics appt letter

September 15, 2017 = Biometrics DONE

October 17, 2017    = Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview

November 2, 2017  = EAD/AP New Card Being Produced

November 6, 2017   = Hardcopy letter Approval notices of EAD/AP in mail

November 7, 2017   = Card was Mailed to me

November 10, 2017  =Combo Card received.

Renewed combo card = July 10, 2018 (No response)

Ready to be scheduled= January 18, 2019

Email of notification = January 24, 2019

Interview Schedule   = February 25, 2019

New Card Being Produced = February 26, 2019

Green Card                 = March 2, 2019

Good morning guys, I finally got some good news - my EAD card was approved, approval notice was sent out yesterday in the mail and my I-485 is now in que for ready to be scheduled for an interview.  I

Just want to update you guys.   Received two approval notices today AP and EAD. Hopefully the card will come soon in the mail.

It just says "your expedite request was serious but not an emergency". :D

 

edit: Also something weird - the envelope was open! It had been stapled closed with one staple. Wonder what happened there?!?

Really USCIS, are you guys for real? Almost 7 months and no EAD card? Hang in there Hamilton, I anticipate something great happening soon.

Finally, my EAD status was changed after 190 days. The status is New card is being produced, and they ordered my new card on YESTERDAY. And THIS MORNING, I had to cancel my flight back to my country. And now, I got that status. It's ridiculous!

I have a question regarding to my AP (the status of my AP was not changed). Do you guys think I will receive the combo card (AP/EAD)?

Congrats! Finally :) sad you had to cancel your flight since you didn't know it yesterday.

And yeah it probably is the combo card.

Oh man I hope to receive that "new card is being produced" status this week as well after 193 days of waiting.

Timeline (From B2 visa to AOS)


July 15, 2016 -> Got married
August 3, 2017 -> Mailed AOS packet (I-130, I-485, I-765)
August 4, 2017 -> Package received
August 14, 2017 -> NOA for I-130 and I-485 (not I-765... called multiple times to ask about this but was told to wait)
August 25, 2017 -> NOA for Biometrics Appt (I-485)
August 30, 2017 -> Sent email asking to look for I-765 (My I-765 was LOST)
September 8, 2017 -> Biometrics Appt for I-485
September 26, 2017 -> Received email from USCIS I-765 found and PD August 4
October, 2017 -> NOA for I-765 and Tier 2 officer cancelled 2nd biometrics

November 3, 2017 -> Raised SR online for I-765

December 11, 2017 -> SR showed as "completed" by the assigned officer

January 8, 2018 -> Name was updated 

January 18, 2018 -> interview scheduled

Are there any August fillers that haven't received their EAD yet? I read about September and even some November fillers having their EAD approved and no one has even opened my service requests yet.

Me, and two other August filers that I know of. Maybe more on other sites...

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Jan 2022 - September 2022 Citizenship

Same here. I already have an OPT based EAD with a different alien number. I'm suspecting this is the main reason why my case is taking so long.

my parents sent in there EAD renewals on 08/07/17.. still nothing so far... 191 days today

So USCIS has officially received my response to the RFIE! We're back in business, folks! I hope I have @Aviinashh's luck and hear about the EAD/AP soon!

 

My journey is at the 190 days mark today:jest:

August 2017 - June 2018 AoS

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Jan 2022 - September 2022 Citizenship
