Hey folks that have filed a Service Request! Did you get an immediate email that CONFIRMS your request? 

I didn't get anything after i called there regarding my  EAD but the lady on the phone had difficulties getting my email written down even though i perfectly spelled it to her several times. She said i should contact them again if i dont get a response in the next 30 days and gave me a case number. Can i use this number to check the process of my SR or is it just a reference for future inquiries?

You can sign up, then add your case and check your SR in Next Steps in https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

This number, however, starts with TID and ends with MSC and when i enter it on the uscis page it gives me an error for an unvalid receipt number!

oh, just enter your receipt number, not your SR

@Special_K: or you can download Case Tracker app on your phone. When you add your receipt number, you can see all your SR’s status.

Thank you! I have only been using the website to check the status so far. In the app it says 'as of jan 29 your inquiry about the status of your EAD ... is currently not assigned for processing'

U’re welcome. Ive filed some inquiries for EAD/AP and all of that have had the same status as yours.

When did they receive your RFIE response? It would be good to know how long I have to wait after I send in my response....
