Hi don't get sad I'm on day 151 without combo cards, no interview ready to be scheduled no news or letter since I did biometrics on September 7, nothing not even an online update I spoke to an officer level 2 he just told me that the time period of 90days is approximately, it can take more, I contacted my local congresswoman and I haven't received any news from her either 😕 I was feeling depressed but I guess we just need to wait. May God have mercy on us And help us 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.

This is unbelievable! it saddens me to know that you guys have been waiting for so long and still nothing.  I cant help but wonder what the heck is happening inside there:(-  I pray and hope that something great will happen for you guys very soon. Keep calling the Teir 2 Officers every 2- 3 days don't ease up on them.

Can anyone share the letter of instructions they got when their interview was scheduled?

I'm wondering if we absolutely have to take our passport to the interview, or if it's just a form of govt ID -- because then I can take my US driver's license (and SSN, etc).

I'm freaking out because I need to send my passport away for a visa application.

@michy007 congratulations! Normally it shouldnt take more than 10 business days for the actual card to arrive. This is what I'll say to you, call them back between January 3rd and 4th, ask to speak with a tier 2 officer, then request for a tracking number. I wish you all the best.

thank you so much for help . but i received my card on 30th . super happy now. online status still hasn't changed

Hi everyone,

So last month, my wife and I got desperate and requested an expedite for my AP. This week, I saw three developments on the AP when I logged into myUSCIS:

1 - "your request has been assigned to an officer for response"

2 - we have sent you a response

3 - your request for the expedite has been completed.

All three on the same day. Does anyone know what this might mean? I haven't received any response yet, but I was thinking - if their response was a request for more information about the expedite, then the request wouldn't be marked as 'completed', right?

Did anyone else's request for expedite work this way -- immediately assigned and completed?

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted on here but I've come back with awesome news. Today, after coming home from work, I came home to a great surprise. My green card had arrived in the mail and our application journey (at least for this one) has reached it's end. Here's our timeline!

Filed I-130, I-485 and I-765 at Chicago, IL

Field Office - San Jose, CA

Married - 01/28/17

PD - 05/31/17

NOA1 (I-485, I-130, I-765) - 06/09/17 (Receipts start with MSC)

Biometrics - 06/27/17

"Interview Ready to be Scheduled" - 08/14/17

"Interview Scheduled" - 09/12/17

Interview NOA - 09/15/17

Interview Date - 10/13/17

EAD "Card in Production" - 09/19/17 (112 Days)

EAD "Case Approved" - 09/20/17

EAD "Card Mailed" - 09/21/17

EAD Approval Letter Received - 09/23/17

EAD Received - 09/25/17

AOS and I-130 Approval Date - 12/21/2017

AOS and I-130 Approval Letter Received - 12/29/17

Permanent Resident Card Received - 01/04/18

We didn't get approved on the spot as we had hoped. We were so nervous the day of our interview that we were both saying the wrong things and our IO barely made any conversation. He barely glanced our album, took some of our photos and sent us on our way. After our interview, we felt dejected and I was in tears.

We were anxious but we remained patient. We tried our best to keep our minds off of it (we avoided talking about it as much as we can). We were prepared for the worst and we waited for another interview appointment letter in the mail.

But here we are! Green card in hand! We couldn't be any happier. There were tears, jokes and more sobs in between the laughter.

We'll see y'all in ROC! Feel free to ask questions. I'll try my best to answer them! Good luck everyone.
