Hey guys. My I-485 status changed directly to New Card Being Produced.  I still can't believe it though.

Congrats! Now to start living a "normal" life. Btw, is your application employment based??

Also, I noticed your RFIE really didn't affect your timeline, right? It didn't reset it I think, which is great!

Here at almost 5 months of waiting (for EAD at the very least) almost feels like giving up.

Timeline (From B2 visa to AOS)

July 15, 2016 -> Got married
August 3, 2017 -> Mailed AOS packet (I-130, I-485, I-765)
August 4, 2017 -> Package received
August 14, 2017 -> NOA for I-130 and I-485 (not I-765... called multiple times to ask about this but was told to wait)
August 25, 2017 -> NOA for Biometrics Appt (I-485)
August 30, 2017 -> Sent email asking to look for I-765 (My I-765 was LOST)
September 8, 2017 -> Biometrics Appt for I-485
September 26, 2017 -> Received email from USCIS I-765 found and PD August 4
October, 2017 -> NOA for I-765 and Tier 2 officer cancelled 2nd biometrics

November 3, 2017 -> Raised SR online for I-765

December 11, 2017 -> SR showed as "completed" by the assigned officer

January 8, 2018 -> Name was updated

January 18, 2018 -> interview scheduled

Wow, congratulations!  That's quick :D Are you a K1 filer?

Thank you. I am not a K1 filer. I am an employment based filer. More specifically, I am a dependent (child) of an employment based I-485 application.

Hey Guys!!!

It is day 131 and till today I haven't heard about my two expedites I filed for my EAD and AP.

But anyways I can share some awesome and exiting news today!!! :)

We had our interview this morning at 11am. We arrived at 10:30 and had to wait more then an hour until they called out names. We saw 5 or 6 other couples all waiting for their interviews. Some were called in separate first before the got interviewed together. We got pretty nervous about that. Around 11:45 it was finally our turn. The lady was really nice and made us raise the hand and swear to say the truth and nothing but the truth. Then she took my biometrics. Then she asked for additional evidence and pictures. So I gave her everything she wanted. First she asked my husband a few questions. Then she looked at pictures of the wedding our guestbook and some other pictures. She asked about a few pictures she looked at where and when that was. Then she started questioning me. Pretty straight forward but nicely. She asked about my spouses parents names and where he was born. Then she asked the questions of the form I-485.

She said she's gonna recommend us for approval and handed me a paper and explained me the process of ROC.

I asked her when I can expect the approval notice and the green card in the mail and she said hopefully she's done by beginning of January 2018. She asked why I wanna know that and I explained her that I requested two expedites on my EAD an AP and I've never heard a word about that. I also told her that both of my Grandparents passed away within the last 3 month and I really wished I could fly home to see my family. She said she understands that and told me she's gonna hold on my passport and will work on my approval after the lunch break. She wanted us to come back at 2pm, so we did and I got my temporary stamp in my passport.

I'M SOOOOO EXITED I'M DONE WITH THIS AND CAN FINALY START A NORMAL LIFE!!!

I wish all of you guys all the best and hope you will receive EAD / AP / or Interview to be scheduled soon!!!!

All the best again!!!

Mike

I was thinking the same but I don't know much apart from what I already wrote.  I think he could re-send it but this time he will have to send the I-864A for his wife's nephew - that's what they are asking for.

Hey guys congratulations on all the good news coming in - and for all our other colleagues that are waiting I truly don't know what to say anymore apart from just hang in there and keep the faith.  Something great will eventually happen.

I had a job interview this morning - I was worried abut not having the SSN even though I noticed it was already in the mail (thank God for Informed Delivery).  Anyway I went to SSA Office before my interview I requested that they write down my SSN and give to me being that it's needed at my interview.  The young lady who I dealt with was so nice, she wrote it down on a piece of paper and gave it to me.  They requested it at the interview and also the actual card but I wrote the number on their form and explained and told them card is in the mail and I should receive it today.  I even showed them picture of the mail with my SSN Card on Informed Delivery site LOL. It worked, I was able to do the interview, the drug test, and I am scheduled to do the finger print tomorrow afternoon - but i will have to carry the SSN Card to do the finger print.  As of 3.30pm today my Social Security Card is in my possession.  Best of luck to everybody who is waiting to receive their card.

Very Happy for you my friend Wish you the best,  I am sure you are going to do great 👍🏼 new job.

Ya but am confused because in the instructions it says "Signature. Each contract must be properly signed and filed. For all signatures on this contract, USCIS will not accept a stamped or typewritten name in place of a signature. If you are under 14 years of age, your parent or legal guardian may sign the contract on your behalf"

She is a legal guardian and has a court document for it and she can sign it but in the instructions it says if you are under 14 years of age....but her nephew is 17 years of age now we dont know if he can sign or my wife should sign

I don't think oso because they have asked for only specific documents.
