Update!

I received my EAD on Friday the 15th. However, there is no celebration yet until everyone here either gets their EAD or GC.

Meanwhile, the online status is still shows "case received". I encourage people to be hopeful, if you don't see any update online, just know that something good is happening behind closed doors. Happy Sunday

Yay 🤗 Congratulations 🙌🏼.

Hi guys!

So today I was making pancakes and I let my husband go to get some coffee from Starbucks. He came back and asked if I have been checking the status on USCIS website. Well I actually did last night. So I said yes, and he asked what it says, so I said the same sh!t. He kept asking if I checked it today, but it is Sunday so I thought there is no way for it to be changed. However, I checked it again, thinking if it was a trick question or something. And the status was still the same. So I showed him my phone, saying the same sh!t. And he showed me what is in his hand. It was a NOA!

So finally I got the interview notice although the online status has been ‘ready to be scheduled’ for 2 months.

The mail may have been in our mailbox for a few days. The NOA says the notice date is 11th December.

I feel so relieved now. The journey is about to end....! I will need to prepare some papers and it is all done! For 2 years at least lol

Awesome, I am very happy for you -  now you can move forward and make things happen - and I agree with you it's quiet disappointing to know that our fellow colleagues are still waiting - but today is a new week and I am anticipating good news from everyone here.
