Awesome, when you say that he got a copy of your documents, do you mean passport and AP or any additional document? Should I handle the officer anything else other than Passport and AP?

He got one of the copies of my AP document (we receive two), and the other he stamped with the parole. He said even though I have one copy now, I can leave and re-enter the States with no issue using that one document (granted, I knew this information already, but being the worried-cat I am, I asked him just to make sure hahaha)

At first they get only your document (your combo card, in this case) and your passport and they do some checking while you wait. I had my marriage license ready to show them in case they were wondering why my name was different on the AP document and passport but the guy said it was fine (I think I got a really nice officer, because from what I read, they always ask for the marriage certificate in such situations). Interesting though, is that when I was called to get my AP document stamped and passport back, the officer commented with me, without me mentioning it, that I was adjusting status from marriage, so they might have all of our info there once they search for our case numbers (which isnt surprising when you think about it but in the grander picture, at that time, I was like "whoah, how do you know that?!" hahaha)

But anyways, after my ramble above haha, yeah you should handle just the passport and AP first. If you didnt change your name, or if your passport name and AP name is the same, you should be fine with just those two documents. I also brought in the copy of my NOA's just in case, but I doubt there would be a situation in where they'd ask for that.

I just forgot to mention something hahaha, I had a little issue in Brazil though, when I was doing the check in for my flight back, they were looking for my visa and I showed them the AP and the lady wasnt familiar with the document. It was a good 10 minutes with back and forth between them, and me explaining what it means, for them to finalize the check in. So yeah, just be ready in case when you do the check in at the airline if they have no idea what that document is, but again, it should be fine all in all :)

Congrats @Jesusboy! So your online status still says "Case received" but you got the approval notices in the mail? Did you have SRs open for the EAD too? Mine are still unassigned...

Something happened! Update on my SR for my EAD (though not for AP or 485):

On December 13, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number ------MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

I really hope this means something will happen soon. It's been 127 days and this is really taking a toll on my emotional well-being...

Your SR has been completed though, while mine has just been assigned. I wonder how long it takes from 'assigned' to 'completed' -- do you know?

I didn't get a notification, it was just in myUSCIS. Any other progress on your side?
