Day 105 and nothing, status unchanged... Couldnt register on USPS notification because I couldnt "verify my identity... ":( :(. My congressman ia republican si I dont know about asking+ do you need to justify why you need to expedite if you write to him?

Use your husband/wife's details that's what I did and I've been getting updates on everything coming through USPS I initially signed up with my name but they couldn't verify it so I used my husband's name instead hope that helps

It looks like your background check is completed - I saw where you are now ready to be scheduled for an interview. I wonder if officers are mixing up cases, hence the reason why September and October folks are getting Approval Notice/EAD Cards before some of us.  This just don't make no sense at all.

Ahhhboi uscis is a madhouse and there`s no method to their madness I feel as if though that agent just fed me some bull to get me off the phone cuz when you look at it how is it this new procedure is only affecting some of us it makes 0 sense for October fillers to be getting eads when August filers are still undergoing background check. I will be contacting the congressman for my area tomorrow and I will be on uscis back like fleas on dogs I got 2 jobs on hold and waiting 3 more months is ridiculous idk how successful all this will be but I can't sit around any longer and not take further action

I just don't know what to think or what else to say - call your local congressman/senator's office first thing in the morning.  Let them know that you would like them to enquiry into your case which is beyond normal processing time, tell them that you have exhausted all your savings that you came here with and also mention the job offers that you cannot accept unless you have the proper documentation to work here.

Thanks a lot @T_P :)

Am sure we support ourselves and even though we were in stress about EAD we did go to other groups to support and answer their queries because I see you all in different groups answering to different questions. Hats off to each one of you. Am sure this is what keeps VJ alive. We did come from different corners of the world and here we all met and helped each other and supported each other. The best part is, we all came here from different parts of the world and we have not met each other in real and not many have accounts with real names BUT we all have helped each other and supported each other. Special thanks to @T_P @Texasfiler. You guys could have relaxed and not come online for a while because you got your EAD approvals BUT you both are active no matter what and you are here supporting me and others. This means a lot !!!

I was out all day yesterday on a interview. I agree.....August filers rock and lets keep doing it.

Team  (yes we are Team Augus :) )

I want to share with you that on Dec I called USCIS and they said that my Card was Mailed via Priority mail. Asked for tracking number and they were able to provide.....on Dec 7 Received the card in the mail.

Few thins to notice....

  • I did open a SR with 90 days and it was never assigned to anybody
  • Status on USCIS never changed
  • I did contacted the congressman which I defnitely believe that helped a lot. I think they have a different "channel" to contact USCIS and so I believe that definitely can help the process

Let me know if I forgot something or if I can help with anything else.

No when you leave the United States there are no checks . Only time when you will have to show the card is when you check back in to your return flight and at the border.
