Its interesting, looking through older filler threads earlier in the year it took many people 4-5 months for EAD. There was a huge backlog. But me as a september filler and october fillers starting to get approved in 60-75 days (me 77 ) shows that they are clearing that. I just think a lot of August fillers got unlucky and fell through the cracks . Maybe the IOs think you are closer to interviews so we will process newer applications to make our statistics to look better... WHO KNOWS.

This is a sad situation, even though we are happy for everyone who gets EAD Card. It still leaves us thinking what's going on?  Something is just not right on the inside - I read this lady's post last night she is waiting for 220 days and still  nothing - but as you say who knows....

Obviously depends on the field office but overall I think that with interview notices it is fairer process since its based on what application come into the field office and one file after another gets an appointment...

Thanks a lot @T_P :)

Am sure we support ourselves and even though we were in stress about EAD we did go to other groups to support and answer their queries because I see you all in different groups answering to different questions. Hats off to each one of you. Am sure this is what keeps VJ alive. We did come from different corners of the world and here we all met and helped each other and supported each other. The best part is, we all came here from different parts of the world and we have not met each other in real and not many have accounts with real names BUT we all have helped each other and supported each other. Special thanks to @T_P @Texasfiler. You guys could have relaxed and not come online for a while because you got your EAD approvals BUT you both are active no matter what and you are here supporting me and others. This means a lot !!!

Awww, thanks to you too my friend I will not go anywhere - and even when I get my interview and GC - I gonna be looking for you @Aviinashh at ROC - so make sure you come back with this name:D  It feels like we (August Crew) are family, we took this journey together, shared our experiences, disagreed with each other sometimes - but we are all here for the same reason - so I am very thankful for you guys and will give my support to the end.

UPDATE: we just got the envelope and it contained my husband’s EAD! We’re so amazed at how fast it was delivered. Less than 24hrs since it was sent. 🙌🏼 Even more amazed at how fast it was processed. Currently at day 66 since our application was received, according to the tracker.

Hoping for more good news for everyone here!

P.S. The issue date on his card is 12/01/17 😊

Congrats :)

Lol so hes republican ? What are you trying to say ? We are legal immigrants going through the legal process. I have never heard a republican say anything negative about that. Including the president.

You are asking for help inquiring with a federal agency they have to help you if you ask...

I know we are legal I just worry about some politicians not being helpful with immigration issues in general with the current president.

That's right we are legal immigrants - I got help when I asked -  Senator John Cornyn is a Republican and his office dealt with my case in a very professional manner .

Well in that point I agree with the president and republicans and you should too coming from france and I am from germany we very well know what uncontrolled immigration can cause in terms of terrorists coming in if no one knows who the hell they are. Especially in france...

Please dont come here saying those things that are in my opinion inflammatory when you haven't even talked to your congressman... The president is married to a LEGAL immigrant. I live in a very republican state and most of my friends here voted Trump and they are very nice and hard working people who do not care about race or where you come from as long as you follow the law and do it on THERE terms .
