The foreign spouse can make the request directly.

Hi guys! October filer here. I have a quick question: Is this the EAD card since it is under “packages” in informed delivery and it is coming from “production facility”? PLEASE SAY YES🤞🏼

I didn’t get any letter of approval. I just randomly checked informed delivery tonight and saw this. Made our hearts leap!

Update from Congressman's office

"""""Hey Aviinashh,

Great news! U.S.C.I.S. has agreed to expedite your EAD petition! This means you will receive a notice shortly on a decision. Once received, it usually takes the actual card 7-10 business days to be delivered. Some employers (I’m unsure about XXXXX) will accept the approval notice as proof of employability.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, or if you do not receive the card/decision in a timely manner, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks!"""""

Contacted my congress person, I hope it helps.  Our expedite is based on financial hardship as I'm not only supporting myself and my husband, but also my mom who can't work at the moment since she is going through her cancer treatments.  It's really getting hard financially and emotionally. Hoping and praying something will happen before the weekend (now I hate weekends because these are days where USCIS is not working, lol).  But I'm hopeful it will come very soon.  We decided we're throwing an EAD party when he gets it lol.

I must say, it's incredibly helpful to have these forums - the support and info is everything. So thanks for being your lovely selves everyone xoxoxo

I pray that your mom's health will improved significantly - hang in there - something great is about to happen for all us August Filers - It is hard on us to sit back and watch our spouse's working so hard and we are not able to help - it is heart breaking - but starting January 2018 it's gonna be great for us.  Keep the faith!

In the August thread, do we really need updates from October filers about how they're getting their EADs already? How is that helpful for anyone here? Can we pause to think this could be upsetting to those of us who filed ages before October filers?

August 2017 - June 2018 AoS

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Jan 2022 - September 2022 Citizenship

I guess we will never understand how USCIS makes their decisions - but hang on just a little longer - you will hear good news soon.

Its interesting, looking through older filler threads earlier in the year it took many people 4-5 months for EAD. There was a huge backlog. But me as a september filler and october fillers starting to get approved in 60-75 days (me 77 ) shows that they are clearing that. I just think a lot of August fillers got unlucky and fell through the cracks . Maybe the IOs think you are closer to interviews so we will process newer applications to make our statistics to look better... WHO KNOWS.

COngrats! How do you see that USCIS sent you something??

Informed delivery, sign up for it on USPS website . Its free... You usually get pictures of your mail in the morning through email or the app and if you get packages you can see those under the package tab. Because USCIS sends the cards through insured priority mail they appear in the packages section although its a smaller mid sized slim envelope.

For packages you get a massage as soon as the label is created and you can track it all the way. Your daily mail will only show on the day it arrives .

Thanks a lot @T_P :)

Am sure we support ourselves and even though we were in stress about EAD we did go to other groups to support and answer their queries because I see you all in different groups answering to different questions. Hats off to each one of you. Am sure this is what keeps VJ alive. We did come from different corners of the world and here we all met and helped each other and supported each other. The best part is, we all came here from different parts of the world and we have not met each other in real and not many have accounts with real names BUT we all have helped each other and supported each other. Special thanks to @T_P @Texasfiler. You guys could have relaxed and not come online for a while because you got your EAD approvals BUT you both are active no matter what and you are here supporting me and others. This means a lot !!!
