@currywarrior, it appears so (between 8-9 months) I already conditioned my mind that my interview will be next year April or May - if it comes sooner that's great - but yes the Dallas Office is moving at very slow pace.

Thanks Aviinashh, yours coming by Friday ok.  How did the orientation go?

I really really hope so

The orientation went well. Spoke to the HR and they are not entering my details into the system. They do have all the documents like SSN Copy, Passport Copy and I've signed all the required documents and they said to call back the office as soon as I receive my EAD

By the way...how many days has it been that you applied for EAD ? Am currently on 121st day (including today)

I know right - Call Teir 2 officer tomorrow to see if there is any new development - also call your Congressman's office first thing Thursday morning - just to nudge them to follow up on your case.

Good morning guys, I finally got some good news - my EAD card was approved, approval notice was sent out yesterday in the mail and my I-485 is now in que for ready to be scheduled for an interview.  It appeared that the Senator's Office enquiry helped. There is still no new updates on my online status, it remains the same.

Aww Congratulations 🤗🙏🏼.
