Good morning everyone!

I have an incoming letter from USCIS, coming from NBC at Lee's Summit! I'm super excited. I am anxiously waiting for AP to travel in March (did not apply for EAD since I'm still in school... but now realize I should have). Hopeful that this is notice approval for AP. FYI my PD is August 23rd.

Sending all my best wishes to everyone who is still waiting. I'm sorry it really sucks :-( but hopefully the wait will soon be over...

Yes you should be able to see if its approval in informed delivery if you can see through the window thingy and you should see the arm of the statue of liberty. going through the middle. The approval notices come in really nice thick paper with watermarks and stuff. Feels special. Congrats

this is what approval notices look like in informed delivery . you can see the arm holding the torch from the statue of liberty😄

Checking my informed delivery I am getting my SSN card today , applied on the 12/01/17

Hello everyone! I am way late to the game here.

We filed our AOS, EAD, and AP on 8/28/17. The timelines here say we should be expecting something by 12/9 for the EAD, which would be wonderful.

It looks like processing is taking longer than 90 days, though? How were you able to check the status online? I'm such a newbie at all this.... even though we've been working the paper trail over a year.

Sorry to say I'm just now joining the August party!

Welcome aboard!

So I just spoke to USCIS and the lady says all i have to do is wait  and the officer is working on many expedited cases. I said my employer is waiting for me to start work and a lot of pressure is building and she's like I understand sir but you will have to wait because when the case is expedited the communication happens between you and the officer and that is why the officer has e-mailed you asking you to fax the offer letter and right now you will have to wait for his/her response.

Then I saw the reply from local congressman's office and he said "

"""I forwarded your job offer letter to my Congressional Liaison last Thursday to ensure it was placed in your file for review. As of this morning, I have not received an update as to where the adjudication process is.  I will follow-up again this Thursday to ensure it was received and is being considered.

I’ll keep you posted!

Thanks!"""

I have job orientation tomorrow and that's for 2 hours and the HR said I will get paid for those 2 hours. I had to ask the HR to not to pay anything since am not authorized to work (also I showed her my SSN during the interview which clearly states "authorized to work with permission with DHS" and she said I can attend the orientation because there are few more new employees joining but the payment will be kept on hold until I present the EAD. Also she said we will discuss about pushing the joining date further to next week or so.

The customer service rep said the only way my wife can speak on my behalf is if the officer puts a note saying my wife is translating for me. We are both native English speakers....

LOL this is so funny I mean...sometimes they will have to use common sense than just reading the scripts.

It's incredible, especially since we were having a conversation in English!! My wife knew I was getting annoyed and said "it's okay, just let it go" :D  SO I guess I no longer speak English.

Hey @Aviinashh, @Texasfiler, @T_P -- we haven't heard anything -- we better not end up with an RFE after all this radio silence!!

@ Hamilton, I tell you ,USCIS giving us a run for our money - this would be a disaster if we get an RFE at this point lol - I have not visited my mailbox since Saturday, will go tomorrow though.
