Hi all,

I'm an August filer for my husband. We're at day 100 today and I sent the SR on day 90 and still nothing... I was really hoping we'd hear something last week or even by this week. I even go straight to check the mail and no news :( I got my hopes up when I saw that folks were getting their combo card in the mail without any change online.

Just wondering for those who haven't received their EAD/AP yet...what day are you guys on in waiting? And anyone else here filed in Chicago that may have received their combo card? And my last question...for those who have sent a SR, did USCIS actually respond to you by the date they said "expect a reply by" w/e date?

Thanks! and sending good vibes to everyone...this waiting game is no fun.

We are on the same boat. My PD is August 23, my 485 is ready to be scheduled and the rest are still same (case is received). I read that some folks get their EAD/AP without any change in their status, but I don't know. I expected to hear or maybe get something by this week. If not then I'll open SR and contact my congressman. Any one from DC here?

Same, we're waiting for some news. I raised an SR back in early Nov. it still hasn't been assigned. We are at around the same time and currently at 101 days.

Hello everyone.  Does anyone know how to check the status of a service request?  The email we received when we submitted it said that a reply should be received by today but we haven't received anything.  I went to the USCIS website but the number they sent us is coming back invalid.  Just want to see if they have touched it yet.

Thanks in advance!

@Aviinashh  Does informed delivery actually show the USCIS mail? I've had some bills and such that don't show in the informed delivery email but end up being in my mailbox. Anyone have an idea of the success with seeing USCIS letters through informed delivery?

Not sure if this is the correct way, but I was only able to find out when I created an account on USCIS then added all the receipts. Afterwards, from the "My Cases" page, if I click on the case corresponding to the 765, I see on the bottom of the page "Next Steps" and in that section it tells me that I filed an SR but it has not been assigned.

I don't know about it but again guys :P in the coming years I might get into my professional job but i will get a part-time job at USCIS or USPS as a "Online Status Updater". There's a lot of chaos about status updates

You can download the USCIS app so that you don't have to log in everytime on the computer.

That's the worst thing to happen. Technology is scary because Ive read about scientists working on robots which can even read people's emotions and talk to you accordingly ! and last week  i've seen pics on internet about scientists reveal a robot which looks 100% human and you cant say if its a robot or a real person !
