This is what am thinking...Am on 108th day and as per the processing times we did see that USCIS is taking time to issue most of the EADs between 90-120 days...

Very rarely people got before 90 days and after 120 days..so am sure mine and others will receive their EADs in 90-120 days timeframe

I would like to have an idea of how many members of August still didn’t receive their EAD and how many already received. If you are reading this post can you quote Yes If you received and No if you didn’t?

Another big fat NOPE here.

@ Aviinashh did pretty well in his analysis of getting EAD between "90-120 days". Other factors in play could be due to the following:

* Service Center- Some centers are known for excessive delays, come rain or sunshine, backlog or not.

* Location of Service Center. i.e State ( Some states move a lot faster than the others)

* Assigned officer to a particular case. (Immigration officers work with different pace). Moreover, they don't get paid based on the number of application files they treat, rather, they get paid by the hour. So if two officers are  given 20 applications for a week and one happens to finish his/her assigned files before the week runs out, it wont affect the take home at the end of the day. Equally, it wont affect the pay of the other officer that is very slow. The more efficient officer would probably get a raise or promotion in the end.

The one that feels the heat and pain is the applicant (we). And that's exactly what is happening.

* Department heads/supervisors- Can also slow down things if they are the meticulous type. They tend to not approve the work of those under them quickly.

* Other factors could be carelessness on their part, wrong interpretations during review, and perhaps, coincidence. When I say coincidence, I mean there are people whose names have resemblance to some names on FBI red alerts. USCIS tend to scrutinize applicants like that more.

At the end of the day, we are all going to get to our destinations. We are on the freeway travelling at different speed, (60mph, 80mph, 100mph, or 120mph). Some people will arrive their destinations before others, but by evening we will all surely, of a certainty get home.

May the Lord have mercy!

B1/B2, F1, L1 etc EAD/AP & AOS may also go to NBC or other service centres but I think EAD/AP from K-1 are processed ONLY at NBC
