So today I received my offer letter and called USCIS and asked the T1 that i would like to expedite my case. She said I will have to fall under a certain category to expedite the case and I said severe financial problem plus I got a job and i have the offer letter and she expedited the case and this is what the status said:

"As of November 20, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1BXXXXXXXXXXXXMSC, is currently not assigned for processing"

Congrats on the job offer! Hope the stupid USCIS situation comes around in your favor and all works out in time :)

You contacted your state senator's office? So Cruz or Cornyn? I thought senators were too important to contact and we could only contact local congressmen about this...

August 2017 - June 2018 AoS

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Jan 2022 - September 2022 Citizenship

I was told that in our state congressman deals with certain case, and my case was referred to our senator's office - whereby case is assigned to a case worker who then sent enquiry to USCIS office.

Hi August filers,

I'm adjusting from F-1 visa and will need a corrected SS card, because I'm changing my name after marriage.

In form I-765, I answered "Yes" to Item Number 10, so I'm wondering if anyone submitted the same response and has received their new SS card without having to go to the SS office.

Thank you for sharing.
