When being asked about each photo, did ur wife remember all the events of photos and answer correctly? My husband is not good at remembering hence I am quite worried

We had about 18 photos. Most of the photos were self explanatory (like graduation etc). My wife is pretty bad remembering as well haha. Good thing we went over the photos yesterday. She randomly picked up a few photos and asked my wife where and when it was taken.

and yes she took a little time on a few photos but could remember the approximate timeline.

Whose field office here is the Chicago? And have any of the Chicago field office people received interviews yet?

Today I received a text notification that my status for I-765 changed to “new card is being produced.” When I checked, it said it was updated last Fri Nov 17th. My I-131 status didn’t change.  Does it mean I will probably just get an EAD card and not a combo? My PD is Aug 25 and today is day 87 since then. I hope you’ll all have your statuses changed soon!!

We cannot know for sure, but don't be too worried, a lot of people have experienced the same thing and received a combo card. It seems they don't bother updating both applications online

So today I received my offer letter and called USCIS and asked the T1 that i would like to expedite my case. She said I will have to fall under a certain category to expedite the case and I said severe financial problem plus I got a job and i have the offer letter and she expedited the case and this is what the status said:

 

"As of November 20, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1BXXXXXXXXXXXXMSC, is currently not assigned for processing"

let me share this information with the house. We need to understand the difference between when USCIS request for initial evidence and additional evidence. They are two different situations, please read on:

 

• When processing delays result from issuance of a Request for Evidence (RFE), USCIS will explain how the issuance of the RFE affects the 90-day period. When issuing an RFE for initial information, USCIS will advise the applicant that the 90-day period is automatically rescinded and that, upon receipt of the requested information, a new 90 day period begins. Likewise, when an RFE is issued for additional information, USCIS will advise the applicant that the 90-day period is automatically suspended and that, upon receipt of the requested information, the 90-day period will continue from the point of interruption.

It is necessary for those that fall into this category to know, to prevent unnecessary panic and tension. The one we should never pray for is the "initial evidence". It delays things somehow.

I got this from USCIS website after some digging. If your application for EAD is beyond 90 days, you might be interested in this:

 

The NCSC has created a new service request category specific to EAD-related inquiries: Outside Regulatory Processing Time. These requests will be forwarded to the appropriate Service Center or NBC. For all requests that are forwarded from either the NCSC or the Field Offices, Service Centers and the NBC will either adjudicate the application or issue an interim card within 10 days of receiving the request. Interim cards will only be issued when adjudication of an application is delayed beyond 90 days due to the required reviews leading to a final decision that will exceed outside of that time frame.
