Is that even a big deal? I mean if we move we don't need to ask for another gc do we?

It was expressed to me that that was going to be the address on my EAD when I receive which would mean my address would be incorrect thus possibly producing more issues along the way.

There is always a backlog causing issues with USCIS :P! For the last year, they have been taking longer than their normal processing time (at least from my experience with K1)

Interesting! I'm just curious to what point we need to change gc every time we move...In case we move once we receive our gc or EAD...I could understand how a wrong address could lead to mail not being delivered though :P

Yeah I don't know if we have to change it when we move after receiving a EAD or GC I'm assuming so until we are fully naturalized that way the department of homeland security would be able to contact you. :P

Well online of course, but I sure hope we don't need a replacement GC or EAD, because that can be long...Thing is I don't think there is an address on an EAD. So I don't think you need to worry about the address being wrong on the card itself!

@T_P, Let me with you congratulations in advance!

Lol! Very nice. We are all doing great, I've been busy with school, so I haven't had time to keep up with things here. But I have a great feeling about the next two weeks, starting from this Friday.

I think you might get some good news before Nov 22nd. He gave you the max, but they normally respond before that time.

Thanks for your care, I really appreciate it.

Hi everyone

I trust you guys have some certain experience about biometrics appointment letter, hence I would like to ask for advices here even though I filed my applications in Oct 2017.

I did receive bio letter last week. It however shows that bio is applied for I765 (Employment Authorization), not mention whether it will be applied for I485 or not. Is it a matter I need to worry about? Coz everyone in Oct who received bio appoiment told me that their letter mention both I765 and I485.

AOS TIMELINE

10/18/17: package (I130, I485, I131, I765) sent by UPS

10/20/17: package received

PD for I130/I131/I765: 10/20/17

PD for I485: 10/30/17

10/31/17: 4 email notifications received

11/04/17: NOA1 received (I130, I485, I765) [11/16/17: sent SR to ask for NOA of I131_pending]

11/10/17: biometrics appointment letter for I765 received

11/22/17: biometrics appointment for I765/DONE

12/08/17: biometrics appointment letter for I485 received

12/18/17: received courtesy letter

12/22/17: biometrics appointment for I485/DONE

01/05/18: Notice for EAD approved on 01/02/18

01/10/18: received EAD card

01/11/18: received SSN

There is nothing to worry about. This “normally” happen to the ones who submitted their application separately but again it can happen also to those who submitted all together. There are tons of cases where people do their bio for EAD And AOS separately. You will soon receive another bio appt.

Hey all, I'm filing from Los Angeles.

PD 08/08

SR raised for EAD 10/23

Case statuses are stuck at "case received" and "fingerprint fee" received".

No response for the SR yet.  I did call the USCIS hotline.  I was told our I-130/I-485 are still pending at the NBC (which I guess means my background check hasn't quite cleared?).  I was also told to wait another week for the SR.  Today's day 100.  I'm trying not to lose my patience!  I was so hoping we'd have the EAD/AP card two weeks ago!!

Welcome! I'm in the exact same position, same PDs, no response to SRs. No idea why our background checks are stuck while almost everybody else's here was complete back in Sept/Oct. Let us know when you hear something!
