Oh my god you guys, I'm shaking as i type this but just got a message on the app that my card is being produced!!! Thank god things are finally moving!! I think we all will get great news by the end of the week!!! So happy!!

Yeah, clearly something happened this year... I've talked to other people who filed last year and couple of years ago  before I filed my application (just to get an idea of what to expect) and they all told me "Oh you get you EAD within 2 months..." or even "I got mine in 2 weeks" and interview in 5 months and I thought that was too good to be true. I felt, later on, that we can never base on past processing times, regardless if the process is still the same as it was the year before.

Hey Aviinashh, I am doing ok? I called USCIS this morning and was told case was assigned to an officer, just waiting an approval. I asked about I-485 updates , learnt that they have requested interview from Sept 27th. So even though we might not get the updates on their site, I believe that they working on our case....but maybe our files are not at the top of the pile that is assigned to the officer, let's hope that they get to our filed soon.  Another thing I am tired of hearing they say "you will hear from us shortly"   curious what does USCIS shortly means???

hmmm....well...I still haven't received any news about my EAD

After we get our proper documentation we should apply for a job with them, it would be interesting to see what's going on inside.
