yes and they sent an inquiry to the embassy but I haven't heard back from them yet.

I am very curious too, it shouldn't take so long to review maybe a couple of months, but shouldn't be more than that.....did u followup with ur congressman or senator office yet or when did they tell u they will help I inquire

they sent me an e-mail last Thursday stating that they sent the inquiry. I don't think it's just to review the docs because the lady on the phone told me that the CO reviewed the docs and that's why the status date shows July 18th, but why is taken that long only god knows. she kept telling me please understand that "immigrant visas" take a long time.

I have know many people from other countries whose k1 visas are approved even after so many rfe within only 6 months they r here. Sure it does take time, but more than 3 months time to review......that doesn't sound right

well it seems like that's what they do now with applicants from egypt for some reason.

even the lady I spoke to today said I understand your frustration but please understand it's not in our hand. I even said then direct me to someone that can give me information and she said there is no one, the CO put the case on AP and he is the only one knows because it's confidential.

i called the embassy today , and once again it was a waste of time , no one is going to tell us anything

AP is i think pretty much your file is sitting there for any reasons or no reasons or i mean the CO's reason lol, I heard for k1 visas status are only "Ready", "AP", or ISSUED.

My fiancé had his interview today and was told that they have to review our evidence and make a determination. I am so sad, we had so much evidence, so much proof, have known each other for so long, i don't know what we will do now 😞

=( ......sorry to hear, but just remember you guys are not alone,  we are all here together. i think there are only a couple k1 visas that they approved last year to this year, most are on AP even when they were told they were approved, are you guys on AP now then and the CO didn't ask for anything else?
