My fiance is an all-American lady, ancestors go back to the 1700s, and yet I'm on AP since November last year. We have 19+ age difference but we are a genuine couple. Approved after 4 months into AP. and now 5 additional months on AP for god knows what.

Extreme vetting is the more likely scheme but also limiting immigrant numbers is the main goal.

I hope you are able to figure out something soon that works best for both of you!

@marmoh you should create a timeline here on VJ, this helps others know how many cases out of Egypt are on AP.

yup you can, but only if they update their cases. under immigration timelines. you can filter it to show only K1 visas and those from Egypt. If the person updated their timeline after the interview, it will show they are in AP otherwise they will update it to approved.

I just got off the phone with the embassy support line and it's useless to call them because they don't know any information and she kept saying only the CO knows what's going on and know can even ask him. she said he reviewed the documents back on July 18th and still have it under AP which I don't understand why if he already reviewed the additional document he asked for on the day of the interview.
