Yes, the American fiancé can attend the interview, I did.  If you want to start getting vaccinations, you can.  Just don't be in a rush to start a medical exam or anything.  If you want to save money, wait until you are more sure you are going to be coming to the USA before paying for vaccinations.  If your fiancé lives in Cairo, why don't you get married in Egypt and apply for the CR1?  I'm just curious.    I really think that me attending the interview with my fiancé helped.  The interviewer asked both of us questions separately.  I think that if I had not gone, he may have been refused even though there were no red flags.  I think the interviewers are good at reading body language and facial expressions and can tell when people are being sincere.  And, if both people are telling the same story but from their own perspective, it helps.  I think it makes the interviewer happy to see both people happy when they say you got accepted.  He interviewed my fiancé first and then called me in to talk to me.  He was very nice and it felt like a conversation rather than him interviewing me.  When he said he was giving my fiancé the visa, I started to cry, I was so happy.  They are just people.  Don't be nervous and scared.  Do your research and get your paperwork right and if you are in a real relationship for the right reasons, you should be fine.  I think most people get denied over paperwork errors.

Thank you for your help, we can't get married here in Egypt because we don't share the same religion (if the woman is muslim the guy can't be anything else) and there is no civil marriage here. Just a question about you going to the interview, did you just show up or how did you inform them?

مرحبا،

بعد 7 أشهر في AP دعت السفارة خطيبي وطلبت فحص طبي جديد وجواز السفر. تغيرت الحالة على الموقع الإلكتروني CAEC من AP إلى جاهزة.

I am at same with the white paper now 45 days after sending family registration ?
