The big deal is that the 2-year card expires.  A conditional permanent resident receives a Green Card valid for 2 years. To remain a permanent resident you must complete ROC.

My husband's extension letter expires in Oct. still no 10 yr green card. Had our biometrics appt after a few months. Hoping that he gets his soon too
