Address on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov not updated automatically (+ other online issues)

Hi.

Some concerns that I have - I created an online account on myaccount.uscis 1 week after i entered the USA as a LPR end of last year. Since then, i have used the online form AR-11 twice to update my address, and shockingly, the address on my online profile still shows the original address when the profile was created!

Now my concerns are as follows:

1. I am not able to find any ways to update the address through  myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov  website. Well maybe there is a way to do so, but for now, i am not able to find it. under My Profile, i can only update my mobile number . Can others confirm this as well?

2. I am about to initiate an online GC replacement process (even though i am not in the USA at the moment). I entered the current friend's address where i will reside for 3 months starting September this year, but would it affect my application if the address on myaccount.uscis is incorrect? I assumed USCIS will only use the address entered in the form (I-90 for GC replacement - even when i apply using the online feature)

3. I tried uploading documents on the online I 90 form via myaccount.uscis - but for some reasons it just kept uploading (after more than 5-6 minutes). I believe my connection is fast enough to upload just 500kb scanned document. Anyone else had this issue?

I just saw a previous post of yours, and I wonder if the problem might be that you are trying to change your address to a po box number.  Have you listed a physical address as well before putting the PO Box in the mailing address section?

Well the online form wont allow you to enter PO BOX in the address field. So to bypass that, after entering the house number and the street name (physical address), in the 2nd line of the address, i just select APT, and enter the PO BOX number. I hope USPS would recognize what it meant. Kinda hard when you are forced to use PO BOX as your official address.

Maybe it will take a while before it updates on the system but i worry a lot that my GC will be sent there as opposed to the address on the form i am going to submit

I think the form is throwing it out because it's invalid the way you have it. As I recall there is one section for physical address and then another for mailing? But you are trying to do both in one section? Have you actually tried just entering the physical address, saving it, and then the PO Box address (properly) under mailing address? And I seem to recall reading - but am not sure - that they will not deliver green cards to PO Boxes anyway, so you may need to come up with a different solution.

Although we had the same address for both so I never tried to do what you are doing, we got immediate confirmation of change of address via email (we had requested that) when we did ours. I think your problems are arising from the fact that you are not entering a valid address.

By by the way I don't see how USPS could possibly figure out a PO Box number when you list it under apartment for a street address even if the system somehow accepted what you are trying to do.  Bear in mind that if the card gets lost because you entered an invalid address, you are responsible for the $540 cost of replacing it which also means you need to be around to go for biometrics. Current wait time for a replacement green card is around 11 months.
