Hello,

I got to thinking, and I've not seen anything on here about this, but I'm wondering if my residency status will affect anything. I moved to Florida recently (beginning of June) but have not switched my residency to here yet. Obviously I need to AFA state laws are concerned, but AFA the i129f, do they care? Would affect anything if I put down on the i129f that she's gonna live with me in Florida if I'm not even legally a Florida resident yet?

That won't be a problem for her because she'll be getting a FL state ID or a driver's license when she moves there, As for you, I'm not sure.

Why won't you switch your residency of state laws require it?

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
