Hi, my i-130 already approved and now collecting documents for NVC 6 Steps

I am a senior citizen my only income source is SSN benefits (495 monthly and did not file taxes since 2013). My Son will be the Sponsor he makes 70K and married filed join taxes last two years.

So far I learned I have to submit form I-864 and My son also need to submit I-864 correct?

Since he is married does he need to submit I-864a as well?

I am the petitioner in the form i-864 I am checking 1a do I need to check 1d or 1e? (Since I make less money and did not file taxes for last 4 years)

Form i-864 Part 6 what should I do? Item 1a what should I put as employer?

How can I prove I was not required to file taxes? I have my SSN statements what else needed?

Also please share any info you think will be helpful for me.

Thanks for your help and advice.

1) Yes both your and your son, as your joint sponsor, will need to file an I-864

2) he doesn't have to but it's recommended that he does

3) 1a

4) you do not click 1a, you click 1c or 1d.

5) you didn't make enough income and SS benefits are not taxable so you write a letter explaining why you do not file taxes.  If you want you can include your SS benefits statements.
