Holy cow yes it is nerve wracking! And my mind did go blank... but it’s ok if you know your stuff it all comes back to you and you know you can get 4 wrong and still be ok!  I have no idea what I was asked even when I came out. I envy those people who can write on here the questions they got!! Haha.

Deep breaths and you’ll be fine 😊

Yes, I have to take deep breaths and chill hehehe hopefully everything will be ok and I'll post my experience here... 🙂

thank you all for the help!

Hello guys, I have a question for the ones who are done with the interview. How long after the interview, you got the date for the oath ceremony? Just wanna mention that I live in Chicago- not suburbs, cause as I noticed, that matters too..

I live in Champaign and my IO verbally gave me the Oath date during the interview. She asked me to wait in the waiting area after the interview and after 30 mins, i received an official oath ceremony letter on site. My interview was on March 14, 2019 and my oath is this week (March 29). Good luck!

Any October/November 2018 filers have their interviews scheduled ? I am a January 2019 file ( NOA1 of January 12'th to be spceific) and have to travel internationally for business in June/July .

I am trying to figure it out when my interview would be so that I can plan accordingly !

It could be a tight schedule for June/July if you applied on Jan.

Yea I'm on the same boat. I applied in November and I have a trip out last two weeks of May.

Does anyone have insight on how long re-schedules take in Chicago?

Hey everyone!

People who got their interview or Oath Ceremony scheduled, what about your "Case Completion Time" updates? Was it real or actual or you still had a kind of "6 months of case completion time"?

Asking because, when I applied I had 15 months, but after 20 days it became 13 months.

Those dates are not accurate at all. better to ignore, and keep track here of what dates are being summoned for interviews.

Hello,

I had my interview today and I was recommended for approval.

My appointment was at 10:15am but I arrived around 8:30am and was out by 9:40am! The officer who interviewed me was a sweetheart - I dont remember his name but he was caucasian and looked to be in his early 30s. The questions were:

1. For how do we elect an US senator?

2. Proclamation declaration

3. Capital of US

4. How many justices

The other two I don't remember...but my advice would be to try to stay calm, everything will be fine!

I have a question for those who were already interviewed: how long did it take for your status to change? Mine still shows the "we have scheduled your interview...".

Thanks and good luck!

Hi everyone,

Congratulations to those that had their interview or the oath.

I applied in July 2018 and had my interview scheduled for Feb 7, 2019. Unfortunately I had to reschedule as I wasn't present in the country and would lose a lot of money if decide to cancel my trip.

So it's been two months since my interview (I sent a letter about a month before my interview to reschedule and got a positive response)

Anyone know how much more do I have to wait for new interview date. I called USCIS and IO said I gotta wait, my case is being processed.

Shoot they still haven't gotten back to you? I'm close to having the same issue.. I'm traveling around the dates that I would have my interview.

Does anybody know if travel insurance will cover this?
