Hey guys, I finally received SMS notification :D  regarding the status update. USCIS case status check website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus) says they have scheduled an interview but my actual USCIS account still shows 'We're still reviewing your case.." I am guessing they'll update soon but I just wanted to share the good news. Pheww!! after 8 months.

Note: If you filed online and haven't signed up to receive notification, try checking the status on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus . Seems like they don't update your USCIS account immediately.

Good luck all! I'll keep you all posted.

Today I had my citizenship interview.  I passed the test but immigration officer couldn't make decision because sistem was down, she couldn't take my fingerprints.  She made appointment for next week to do fingerprints.

Congrats! My husband had his interview Monday as well and passed the test.  He was not given a specific appointment time to have his fingerprints taken, but was given a sheet of paper which stated to come back on 2/12 between the hours of 8 and 12.   Do you have a scheduled appointment with your interviewing officer?

:) I filed on June 10th. Online. I don't have the interview details yet. Status message said it could take few days for the letter to show up in my online account's document section. I'll keep you guys posted once I know more.

Thanks.  Congrats to your husband too.  I don't have specific time.  She told me to come between 8am and 1pm. She said when they take my fingerprints they will make decision. I hope we will know on Tuesday.  I'm tired of waiting.

Thank you all so much for all the experiences and stories your share. Here is my timeline :

- Online file on 07/17/18

- Biometrics 08/10/18

- Interview notice 12/31/18

- Interview date 02/05/19

- Oath notice 02/07/19

- Oath date 02/27/19

Backgrounds of my case:

- File under 3-year rule married to US spouse.

- eFile with uploaded marital evidence covering from marriage date up to present which is 5 year (the instructions require only 3 year, but I submitted everything in 5 years)

- No name change.

- Chicago resident.

- The interview lasted only about 25 mins. The officer was really nice. He asked me the new update info from me and my spouse like address and work, then move on the tests and yes/no questions. I asked him about the Costco membership and the 2 minor traffics tickets which I didnt include when filing the application. After hearing me out, he said those are not big deals, and thanks me for letting him know. He didnt correct anything in my application for those issues.

Let me know if you have any questions.
