I meant from the application to the actual interview ! Also I am going to apply for my N-400 soon and was wondering if I need my wife's birth certificate during the application or will I be asked for it during the actual interview ? She is a natural born citizen and her passport lists the place of birth as the US. We don't have her original birth certificate and was wondering if we had to apply for a copy ? Any guidance would be appreciated !

Did anyone notice that Uscis in Chicago at 101 w Congress parkway DOESN'T DO infopass appointments and walkins anymore 😱😱😱 the page for scheduling the appointments says that "the office is not accepting walk-in requests or scheduling InfoPass appointments." I mean like #######. So when something gets screwed you basically can keep calling Usics or sending letters. This is beyond ridiculous!

I think you implied don't, I'll see if my wife has a day off or not from work. If she does, I'll take her along for good measure. Thank you !

Hey guys, were any of you able to do a early walk-in appointment for your biometrics ?

Yes I did. Just told them I was in the area. As long as you have your paperwork and they are not crazy busy they usually fit you in. I went to the St. Louis office.

I filed last November, when should I expect an interview and oath based on recent timing for Chicago? Asking because I have a few international trips coming up

I am in a similar situation as well . I would say that you will be interviewed sometime in the  May/June time frame.
