Good news, my brother-in-law who is a Chicago filer just got interview date of 12/12. I don't know his filing date but he had fingerprints at the end of March.

Wow that is about 9 months from the biometric 😳, Don't you think that is slow?

@cupcake123 My status just got updated back to "In line for an interview" since 11/03. That's so irritating. Apparently they cancelled all the interviews that day according to another filer who got the call from USCIS as well.

@Yuliya Lipina.  I'm so sorry to hear about this.  This is incredibly discouraging.  I wonder what's going on?!?  Keep us posted on what you hear back from service request and senators.

I hope so too. Another to USCIS is likely to happen soon.

@Yuliya Lipina are you able to do an info pass (or perhaps you already scheduled?).  Some appointments opened up today at the chicago office.

I am not sure if it's going to result in anything, because technically I am not outside of the regular processing time and I don't want to waste my sparse vacation time on it. However, if an inquiry with a senator results in nothing I will definitely make an appointment.

Checked my case status and it says that interview has been scheduled. Waiting for the letter. Hopefully this interview will happen.

I'm quite confused.  Three sept Chicago filers  got emails saying interviews have been scheduled.  Two July filers already interviewed.

It's been almost 6 months since my husband applied and nothing has progressed. I'm not sure how it's jumping all over the place. Is this a difference between paper & online filers?

Well at least Chicago office is moving.

I'm a March 29th filer and have been inline since April 7th.  No interview scheduled notice online or in mail yet:(

Hello everyone, I filed my N400 beginning of July (end of June possibly not 100% sure) Had my fingerprints done July 27th. On July 31st I checked my status saying that I am in line for an interview. Since then I have heard nothing. Since it shows that I am in line for interview I assume that my fingerprints were completed.

My co worker's neighbor filed in March and he has his interview December 8th I believe.

couple of questions:

1. does anyone know if the listed hours for the chicago office are correct?

M-T 7:30am-3:30pm

W 7:30am-12pm

Th 7:30am-3:30pm

F-S-SU - closed

2. when checking current processing times for chicago I'm seeing January 25th but I see that some March filers are getting their interviews, does that mean their site isn't up to date? they updated it last on January 25th.

My wife and I are planning a trip december 22nd-January 2nd so we really hope I don't get scheduled during that time and have to cancel our trip lol but at the same time I really want this process over with :D
