Hi guys, what do i need to bring with me to the interview?

- passport

- taxes

- should i get a copy if my N400?

What else?

Those things plus the letter sent to you for interview and drivers license for ID. I also took expired passports. No need for a copy of your application they have it all there and you won’t get to look at it!

Good luck!

Thank you. Are they going to ask me for every single question on my N400?

Finally received the interview letter for my wife, scheduled 10/03/18. We are very cautiously optimistic at this time; because as I have mentioned before, her I-751 is still pending.

If anybody at the Chicago office had a combined interview for I-751 and N400 - please do share your experience. If you were rejected, when did they reschedule your N400 interview? I am crossing all fingers and toes that somehow magically her I-751 gets adjudicated before 10/03. We really need to be able to catch a break through this journey!😢

Wish you good luck @flash9153!! I am in the same boots-  pending combo, please visit the existing thread about N400  I-751 Chicago combo filers, there was a post about successful combo interview recently in Chicago. Which gives us all some hope. Also I would recommend to consult with a representative from your disctrict , see what they say about your scheduled interview.

Please post about your experience, when your interview will come up!!

I have a questiin, i applied for my N400 october 2017 so i didn't send 2017 taxes. Are they going to ask me it?

I applied in November also and sent the previous 3 years. At the interview she asked for my current year’s taxes and I told her I did not have them back from the accountant yet. She said that was fine as I had sent the previous 3 years.   You’ll be fine.  Good luck!

I agree. Although it's September now and most people have their tax returns done. It doesn't hurt to keep 2017 transcript with you in case they ask for it at the interview. It's pretty easy to retrieve your transcript from IRS.gov

Its hard to memeories dates 😔😔

no, just as long as you have a rough idea, they really just confirm rather than test you!   You’ll be fine.

Anyone for Oath Ceremony in Chicago on September the 20th?

But ’tis a common proof
That lowliness is young ambition’s ladder,
Whereto the climber upward turns his face.
But when he once attains the upmost round,
He then unto the ladder turns his back,
Looks in the clouds, scorning the base degrees
By which he did ascend.
