Hey agrzybianek,

After your interview, you said you received your oath in two weeks. Do you mean to say (a) you received your notice for a oath ceremony in two weeks or (b) your had  your actual ceremony in two weeks. If (a) how many days was it for the actual ceremony or if (b) when did you receive the letter. My basic question is how long before the ceremony are people informed ? If you can give actual dates it would be helpful. Thanks

i had my actual oath exactly 2 weeks after my interview. I had my interview on 5/9 and my oath was 5/23. i received an email that I have been scheduled for oath exactly 48 hours after my interview. I received the letter about 4-6 days after i got scheduled so it was a very very quick process for me.

Yeah.... wait and wait and wait it is. Paper application in Sep 2017 and interviewed in Apr-2018 and waiting for oath since.

During the 1st week of July, after waiting 90-days since the interview, called & opened a service ticket about it. The rep said the case officer usually schedules for the oath ceremony in about 60-days but has up to 120 days to act and so  case is still considered to be within the allowed time frame. But she opened the ticket anyway and said I should hear back in a couple of weeks.

So, got the response letter today and it is simply re-states the online status "We placed you in line for your oath ceremony in April.... yada yada'". No eta on the oath or any other useful information. And the letter ends with the beautiful "we hope you find this information helpful". Ha ha 😒

The 120 days is up next week. Should I call & raise another ticket, or do you think that might be considered one too many? Doesn't seem to help advance the time line in anyway. In fact the letter says something like 'you don't have to do anything, we will update you when a date is set". Looks like there is no option but to wait and wait and wait .....

Ah bzbee  we are in the same area  ( I come under Urbana).. I am not expecting my oath ceremony until

next year... if April interviews have not heard yet and I am June... ugh.  The Peoria oath ceremony is September 25th... maybe you will get that? I don’t know if they just lump us all together or what they do.  Keep us updated!

Hi guys, finally after 9 month and 2 weeks I got my online status updated and it says "case in line for an interview"

Does it going to take another 9 months to get my interview schedualed? 😞😞

I am hoping to get another update in day or two because I already waited for 9 months!

Good luck everyone

My letter came within a week of status update for my interview 4 weeks later. Almost there!
