I am not sure if we have some sort of table to track the timeline. Just saw this in other group and thought it will be helpful for everyone.

quick question I forgot to ask earlier after my oath. Does anyone know if I have to change my i9 form at work from permanent resident to citizen or is that not something I have to do? thanks!

I know you have to let the Social security office know,  I wonder if that automatically updates your employment status? 🤔

Can you please explain what N-14 is?

It is a request for further information that sometimes means a second interview depending on what information they need.

I see!! Good luck and congrats in advance

And let’s hope that we don’t get one of those! (The N-14) I’m really really hoping for a straight forward interview, and a speedy oath ceremony soon after. Within 2 weeks would be awesome as my daughter will be visiting and I would love her to be at the ceremony!  Fingers crossed.

What are you afraid to get for those (N-14)?

Seriously?! Who wants to get a request for further information at the final step?

n-14 they request more documents and sometimes take long time , thats why im checking here if someone in chicago got the n14 before and how long it take ? :(

I saw it on a different forum, where someone in Chicago got a N-14 and I think it took 4-6 weeks before the person heard back. But then they were approved and given oath fairly quickly.

does anyone know how long after your oath and voting registration does it take to process? I had my oath/registered to vote on 5/23 but i just checked my online voter status page and it's still showing that i am not registered to vote :(

My husband just got his voter registration card 2-3 days ago and his oath was on April 26th.

Hi guys I had my interview last monday, the officer congratulated me and said she will recommend me for approval. Two hours later when I checked my status online it shows case status under supervisor review. Does anyone here with the same experience? What does it mean? I will appreciate your answers Im getting worried. I filed based on 3 years marriage no ticket because Im not driving, no criminal case what so ever. Filed our taxes on time.

Timeline

Hey guys,

I have been following this thread to see where we are at with the Chicago office. I haven't read anything this month from paper filers who got their interview letters. I am a September filer, filed on 09/28/2017 and have been in line since 11/28/2017.

Please share any updates.

Thank you
