Hello everyone

sorry couldn’t talk about my oath earlier my wife and I were driving to Florida :)

my oath went extremely well. We had about 140 people from all different counties. The whole ceremony took about 2 hours (9am check in and 10am ceremony started) we were all done at 11am. We started by a welcoming speech by the organizer, then we watched a quick video, another video from president trump welcoming us as citizens, we watched a short video about people becoming citizens and finally we all received our certificates! It was a very beautiful and touching ceremony.

I am so glad that it’s all over now. I will never have to deal with USCIS again! It’s still hard to believe that it’s done. After the ceremony i registered to vote right outside the doors!

Hope you all get your interviews/oaths soon! If you have any questions please feel free to ask away!

Congrats! enjoy and make sure to take some pictures as a souvenir!
After the ceremony as you receive your certificate you are able to take a picture with the person that gives them out (at least we could during my oath)

That’s awesome! That’s almost like normal timing for the N400 interview. At least someone has good news. Wish you good luck!

Hi all! Sorry for the delay.. was waiting for an update after my husbands interview. On the decision there were 3 options and his interviewer told him congrats but that he needs additional approval from a supervisor and that he will have a decision in 2 weeks. Well finally after 4 weeks he got an email that it was scheduled! We filed beginning of June last year and so depending on oath date, about a year few days until completed! Good luck to you all and be patient! Also, thank you vj for all the help through our journey!

You should be fine. My co worker’s neighbor had his oath same as me 2 weeks after his interview.

Yes mine was in Chicago downtown office. 101 congress parkway i believe is the office address.
