Thanks!

Do you know how long before my status changes from interview scheduled to in line for oath?

No I don't but should not take long, did they tell that you are passed the interview and you should wait for the oath or did they tell you that they will send you a letter for the decision?

They told me I’m recommended for approval that’s what they checked on the page they gave me. They said I will get my oath 4-6 weeks which is perfect since we are going out of the state next week

In my case, I have already applied for the passport, and my status wasn't even updated to reflect that there was an Oath scheduled.

Right now it says that if I do not receive the letter by May 18th (my oath was on April 30), I should contact them :) - I do not know how this works.

Done! All went very well it was super easy. Passed with flying colors! I did get my green card back which was weird because I thought they take it at time of the interview? I think now they take it at your oath I’m not sure.

good luck to everybody else your day will come!!! Feel free to ask me if anyone has any questions

Congratulations! I'm so glad it went well for you. Hopefully you will get the oath soon. The oath is very unpredictable, you just can't tell how long it will take to get the notice.

They will take the green card at the oath.

Did your husbands online status ever change from interview scheduled to in line for oath or did it just go straight to oath scheduled?

Posted

@agrzybianek I would suggest keeping an eye on your mail while you are gone. Either by email notices or have someone check it.

For my my husband he went straight to "oath has been scheduled and we've mailed you a notice".

It was 48 hours after his interview. I think it was just luck. The average wait time seems to be 3-4 weeks. Once you get the notice I think you have 7-10 days until the actual oath.

Hmm ok, yeah we will just have someone get our mail for us while we are gone.

my case status still shows “interview scheduled”
