Applied end of June 2017 by paper. I've been in line since July 31st

I mean up to 15.5 months? seems like the wait gets slower and slower by the month, doesn't it?

I think the wait is getting shorter for us Chicago filers. It took only about a month to go from April filers to may filers; on the other hand, it definitely took longer to go from march to April filers. So I think @agrzybianek should hear back from them soon since you applied late June.

Still waiting to move in line for oath here. Im hoping that it goes in line so I know there isn't going to be an RFE or anything to put us back in limbo . No reason to believe there will but with USCIS who knows!

I genuinely can not wait for @zinger and @agrzybianek to post on here that their interviews have been scheduled lol. That way we will know, June filers in Chicago are almost done with getting interviews. I'm getting very frustrated by this wait.

Thanks,  hopefully I get it soon :)

i wonder if it matters what country you are from since I know a may filer that hasn’t gotten their interview yet

I don't think the country matters. Once we become permanent residents, we are all the same no matter which country we are from. The country only matters in obtaining the permenant residency status.
