What was your approval date. I am waiting for my oath ceremony too. Interview on 10/21 approved on 10/27.

I got approved on October 21st.

Interview on Oct 7 and approved on the same day. Oath scheduled for Nov 19.

Question for recent oath takers at the federal court in Chicago, can the family acccompay to the ceremony?

When did you receive the oath date notice or see it in your account?

It would be helpful to know the time between approval and the notice of oath. I’m trying to plan something around for the holidays.

Hi everyone,

First of all, I just want to congratulate all those who are done with the process and wish good luck for those who are still stuck in this long journey. And also thank all those who shared useful information here.

Here is our experience so far. 

My wife applied back in January. Based on marriage.

January 19: package sent along with fee waiver. 

January 27: package delivered (Chicago).

March 6: Case received and Notice mailed (NBC).

May 15: biometrics scheduled.

June 11: biometrics appointment.

September 29: interview scheduled.

November 4: interview.

Officer asked 6 civic questions, went thru application (yes/no questions) and asked what does the oath of allegiance mean... 

Waiting for oath ceremony...

The oath ceremony scheduled notice is displayed in USCIS account 4 weeks after "Oath ceremony will be scheduled" notice for October interviews in Chicago (Disclaimer: I have observed this in 4 cases). The oath ceremony is 2 weeks after the notice appeared.
