Wow your application is almost a year now. Have you tried getting hold on to them and follow-up?

This is nothing new in Chicago. I filled on January 23rd, 2020, biometrics on February 19th, 2020, and no interview since then.

Next week you should be eligible to file a case inquiry, as you'll be outside the normal processing time for Chicago field office.

Estimated time range

13.5 Months to 16 Months

Receipt date for a case inquiry

January 18, 2020

Your timeline doesn't totally make sense. You did biometrics before your NOA priority date?

If your priority date is Jan 23, I expect it's a case inquiry next week. If it's Feb, inquiry would probably be next month.

The personal case completion estimate is back on my.uscis.gov.  I hope it's wrong as many more months were added to my estimate from the original estimator.

Same here - went from 8 months when filing to 14 months from today (2 months later - that's double the time at 16 months total!)

Yep, had the same experience. Added about 6 months to old estimate.

Hello to everyone.

Just wanted to share our experience so far.

My wife applied back in January based on 3 years marriage.

Paper package sent along with fee waiver on 01/19/21.

Delivered on 01/27/21. Chicago lockbox.

No notice at all untill March.

03/06/21: we received your n400 application. It's being processed at NBC... Notice received few days later.

05/15/21: we scheduled your biometrics appointment.

06/11/21: biometrics appointment...

If anyone has similar timeline, please share.

I know Chicago is one the slowest offices. But hopefully it's not gonna be as crazy as for those who applied back in 2020.

Thanks
