Happy New Year to everyone! I am glad to announce that my case got approved! On Dec. 26 my online case status changed to in line for Oath Ceremony and today I came home to Oath Ceremony letter that is scheduled for 01/11/2018! I couldn't believe it! I hope nothing goes wrong in the meantime.

Happy New Years all.  I'm happy to report that we finally got the oath letter for my husband.  It will be on 1/16 (noon, at the Federal building on S. Dearborn). His timeline:

Further details - After his interview, he was handed a letter saying he was 'approved'.  On Dec  11 his case was updated to 'in-line for oath'; on Dec 27 his case was updated to 'oath scheduled'.   We got the oath letter on Dec 30 (it was post-marked Dec 27).

My husband and I had our interviews on Dec 19, right after the interview he got 3 update emails from Elis and eGov, and got his oath letter(PDF) next day.

 

I got my letter (PDF) 6-7 days after my interview. Unfortunately we are attending on separate days, most probably due to my name change.

 

Still, we are both very happy with the outcome, and our long journey will be ending soon...

I filed my N-400 back in August, and still have not gotten my interview scheduled yet.

I guess I have to wait longer then. I heard they have just started interview people who filed in March, so hopefully you and your son soon!!

My husband is a May filer and he's still waiting. It's a long process unfortunately. 

 

They have started on early April so there's some movement.

@Yulia Lipina This is fantastic!  So very happy for you!!  And what nice start to the new year that you'll be taking your Oath ceremony so soon.
