It's really weird. I know people in my area who applied in November 19 and got their citizenship in March. Now after the lockdown, the estimate went to up to 36 months. It doesn't make any sense and I would not read too much into it. Nobody knows what's going on anymore in this country.

Anyone who got rescheduled? I had my interview scheduled to be on 23rd March but got cancelled.

It is kind of off the topic but Uscis plans to hold citizen class at their building starting September in Chicago.

 

Why schedule interviews... let's invite over people who don't even needs to be there. .. WE CAN ALWAYS WAIT LONGER. 🤬

I'm in the same boat as a lot of people here waiting for the interview to be rescheduled.  My interview was originally scheduled for March 18.

Question: once the new interview note is received, in how much time is it usually scheduled ? Is it in the matter of weeks of months ? Want to know if I should keep postponing all our road trip plans waiting for the interview to be rescheduled.

went to the oath ceremony in Chicago today. 
They did not allow family members to enter and the entire process took 30 min .  In all there were 30 people with her .
wife came back with the naturalization cert. 
applying for passport by weekend .

Anyone applied in January 2002 or before still waiting for an interview to be scheduled?

My online status changed from we are taking longer than expected to 18 days with completion date of October 2020. Is it good sign?

Some guy in the Fb group said that he had interview today in Chicago which was rescheduled from March 15th. He applied in Jan 2020. I am guessing begining of Jan because his biometrics was Jan 15th.

I am end of Jan filer. 

I called today and I spoke to tier 1 officer. She said they are rescheduling interviews. Mentioned that they don't schedule new one yet which is sooooo depressing. So many people waiting.
