Yes, I expected to be approved on the spot as well, but wasn't, so expectations are not always correct. I'm glad though that it worked out for you! Now just keeping my fingers crossed that your oath comes fast in 2020 ;)

I applied under the 5 year. I got divorced during ROC so the 3 year wasn’t an option for me.

Hello All,

 

I’m glad to find this forum. I just had my interview on Jan 3rd. Everything went smooth. My IO asked me my job, it wasn’t that specific on my application since there was no option for my title when I did it online. So he changed it and made me sign the paper. He apologized since I walked up to him that their computer is having some technical issues. Ipad was not working as well. He said I was approved and that I will get the notice of oath. But when he handed me the paper it says “decision cannot be made yet...” so I asked him. He said because of the computer issues. The next day my status changed to “you attended your interview”. Waiting game again.

Mine took almost 4 months after I got the interview notice and status changed to “we scheduled your interview”. I had my biometrics Aug 12th, interview notice received on 1st week of Dec and had my interview Jan 3rd.

Was your interview on Thursday 2nd or Friday 3rd. It’s confusing the website says that the ‘Chicago’ field office is closed on Fridays?! 

I had my Interview 3 weeks ago. Also “decision cannot be made yet” officer said everything looked good but she needs to go over my documents?!  and I’ve been waiting since then. My online status says you attended your interview. But in the other website ‘case tracker’ it still says your interview was scheduled!

Hi! There are possibilities that you will get it soon or later. I knew someone from July 2019 filers who finished the process and had her oath ceremony by Oct 2019. I received my interview notice late Nov and had my interview Jan 2nd (I filed towards end of July). Just got my oath notice today and waiting till it shows on my documents tab to find the exact date.
