Chicago N400 filers

Hi all,

 

My paper application was received March 30th and my priority date is April 7th (inline for interviews April 27th). I just received a  notification tonight that my interview has been scheduled.  Will keep this group posted on when it's scheduled.  May be a sign that chicago paper filers are starting to move?!?

we filed my application mid-end of June so it looks like I still have a bit of time to wait (also filed paper) and been "In line for interview" since July 31st. unfortunately at the time I was not aware that you can file online

I think online applications were permissible in mid April (two weeks after I filed my paper application), and I wasn't aware you could file online either:(.  Hopefully things will move quickly over next few months for you.

Thank you, let us know please as soon as you know what is your interview date (curious if you'll be in January or this year) my guess is January because of christmas and New year's

reason I'm asking is because I'm curious whether the scheduling is automated or done by a person depending how many interviews are done on a given day and other factors

I received the text notification at 8 pm CST.  The email notification must have come to my inbox 10 min earlier than that.

Interesting - wonder how that works. I don't think they have anyone setting up appointments at 8 pm (unless they do)

@cupcake123 – congratulations on getting your interview notification – I hope your process goes on smoothly and you get done with the process by the end of next month. Just to confirm, is your NOA/priority date April 7^th? Just curious to know if USCIS Chicago field office have started scheduling for April priority dates

seems like they are doing mid march mail applicants now, hopefully you should get scheduled soon!

Finger prints: scheduled for April 25th but I went early and did them on April 17th, 2017

 

In-line interview: April 27th, 2017

do you know if they are on beginning/mid/end of April? how do you know what month they are on? i'd love it if the processing times website was up to date
