Had my oath ceremony today! The video/audio wasn’t working so we didn’t get the videos, but it was fine. Notification letter said ceremony starts at 1, but it was really around 1:45pm after getting everyone becoming naturalized checked in and bringing the guests in. Ceremony itself  was about 40 mins or so.

Wishing the best of luck to everyone in their journey!

Hi everyone!

I filed online for N-400 a few days ago.

For those of you who have a scheduled interview, when did you apply? The USCIS website is giving me an expected case completion time in June 2020 (11 months), just wondering if this looks pretty accurate. It took me 19 months to get my 10-year green card (no RFE or anything).

Also, for those who have had their Oath ceremony, how long did you have to wait for a date after the interview?

Thanks!

AOS Timeline:
August 29, 2015: AOS package mailed to the USCIS in Chicago.
August 31, 2015: AOS package delivered.
September 8, 2015: NOA1 received by text and email (4 receipt numbers).
September 12, 2015: NOA1 received by mail (3 receipt numbers).
September 14, 2015: NOA1 received by mail (1 receipt number).
September 18, 2015: Biometrics appointment letter received for October 1, 2015.
September 22, 2015: Biometrics done. Early walk-in at a different ASC.
September 30, 2015: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.
November 11, 2015: EAD card is being produced (Form I-765) and Form I-131 is approved.
November 12, 2015: Form I-765 is approved.
November 15, 2015: Interview scheduled on December 22, 2015.

If you go to the US Citizenship timeline page and filter by local office ( in our case Chicago) and sort by interview date, it will give you pretty good ideas how long the N400 process took from filing to interview. https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/citlist.php?op6=All&op7=Chicago+IL&op1=6&op2=&op4=1&op5=5%2C10%2C11&cfl=

Hi everyone!!

I had my interview on June 6th and I am still waiting for a response. Really frustrated, but keeping my hopes up that o will get an answer soon.

Anyone on the same boat or who had a similar wait time (>3 weeks)?

Sorry to hear that @Lulu14 is your I-751 pending ? I wonder if that is the reason why

My wife told me name one of the war in 1900s. Then she doesn't remember the rest. She did say the IO pepper her with questions one after another. But she got the first 6 rights and stopped. For reading and writing, it was who was the first president.

Basically the status changed to approve then waiting to schedule Oath ceremonies 30minutes after the interview. 24 hrs later the oath ceremony was scheduled. It looks like they scheduled the oath on 7/29. Just saw the letter in my.uscis.com posted yesterday.
