Any October/November 2018 filers have their interviews scheduled ? I am a January 2019 file ( NOA1 of January 12'th to be spceific) and have to travel internationally for business in June/July .

I am trying to figure it out when my interview would be so that I can plan accordingly !

I'm a November/18 filler and my interview is scheduled to June 10th.

If you reschedule, you are back to the end of the waiting line. My friend has been waiting about 5 month now, still waiting. So i always advice others strongly try to avoid rescheduling.

Do you know if the same applies in case we can't attend the day of the oath? I'll be here for my interview on June 10th, but I'll be gone between July 1st-22nd.

Im not sure about rescheduling the oath. Oath ceremonies happen really frequently in Chicago for those who dont change their name, so if you get a notice of "we scheduled your ceremony" then expect that the oath ceremony will be about in 3 weeks after the date of your case status' update. At least, things happened like that for 2 of my friend and my self included

As Carvalho said, he's interview, as well as mine is June 10th. We are both November filers, so I expect yours to be July.

Congrats on getting your interview date @ordjnb , my estimate was June 5 - 7. I guess this gives you enough time to go on vacation and come back,

Thanks, coincidentally just got the notification that my interview was scheduled. I will need to wait for the documents to be uploaded or to receive the mailer to know the exact date.

You have no idea on how much better I feel after reading this! Now I know I am not the issue. Yes, the officer who interviewed me was fairly young (late 20s/early 30s)...well good luck to us. Please let me know if you hear anything from USCIS.

I am the third one with the same situation. Interview on March 29 with a junior officer. He told me I should be scheduled an oath within one month. Need his supervisor to approve my case even he recommended his approval for me. So frustrated! Call several times for infopass. No luck to get an answer. Feel so unfair!  Let’s keep in touch!

@sammy99 and @Lyric2019 did you guys travel abroad while the N400 was being processed? I read on a FB group about two friends who applied around the same time but one of them had to wait about three months for the oath and she had traveled abroad while the N400 was being processed and the other hadn't...just wondering if that can be the reason...but probably our files are just sitting in someone's desk...

No, I didn’t travel outside of us. I believe the only reason is HE IS THE NEW TRAINED OFFICER! My friend‘s interview was three weeks after me, but she already got her oath last week. She also traveled outside of us in the past six month. So the world just looks like lottery. You can’t choose what you want!
