Well our ceremony came and was great. We must have been at a different one to @silvershadow369 because we had 142 people from 46 countries. The ceremony itself was inspiring with some great speakers. We had travel plans so went straight to the passport office after the ceremony and got our passports same day as the oath ! So I'm done. I'm delighted and I wish you all a speedy end to your journey. Now it's over for us its almost surreal.

Thanks for sharing my journey with me.

Congratulations on being done!! Please do let me know how long your passport takes, my husband is applying after oath as well.

Also did you fill out the form that you received with oath notice at the ceremony or before hand?

@Steelers1020, for Chicago people with May priority dates, the average number of days between PD and interview letter is 280 (the range is from about 244 to 297). Looks like you're right at 280 today... here's hoping it won't be too much longer for you!

Any news @AK_2014?

Nope. Still waiting, alas.

Hopefully soon, I think you will hear something in the next 2-3 weeks. What's your PD?

How did your interview go? Oath?

Interview was easy and quick, took about 12 mins total - and most of that was reviewing the application. The officer went over each item on the appln and confirmed the answers. Then three questions from the 100 (answered them correctly), asked to read from a card and then write a sentence that he said. That ended the interview,  officer gave a paper with 'recommended for approval' ticked. Said oath will be scheduled in 4-6 weeks, said they will mail a letter. Nothing so far, still waiting for that letter.

Already after getting the passport. Got it same day as the oath because I had travel booked.

Any update for October 2017 filer?

We filed on August 7th and still nothing. It's very frustrating to see September fillers go through interview and oath before us. But I guess we have no control so we just have to wait.
