Great news! Chicago seems to moving at a steady pace now. You will probably get the letter by the end of the week.

does anyone know how long usually it is from when you are scheduled for your interview to when it actually is in Chicago? I got scheduled April 2nd (2 days ago) but we are going out of the state on May 16th, I obviously don't wanna miss my appointment so that's why I would love to know. Hopefully, I receive my letter in the next few days.

If you got scheduled on April 2nd then I would estimate 4-5 weeks from that date for the actual interview. You should have your letter by this Friday.

Good Luck!

Quick question for anyone who has already interviewed, did you take tax transcripts with you? Did they ask for them during the interview? This is for 5 year application.

My mom became a USC in 2014 (or 2015, can’t remember) she brought tax transcripts with her just in case but the agent did not ask for them. I’ve heard cases where they might want them or not, I would bring them with you just in case. I know I will, better safe than sorry in my opinion

thanks for answering my question above :) when’s your interview?

Oh boy getting close, is he nervous?

what is he bringing with him document wise?

i hear some people even bring photos but someone told me that’s no longer required I dont know much about the interview such as dress code (I’m guessing business casual) do you shake the agent’s hand or wait and see if they do first? I wanna know everything lol
