Hi guys!

When my visa packet arrived, there were documents outside the packet together with my passport/visa. I believe these are the secondary documents I submitted 1 week after the interview as per required in 221g such as baptismal certificate, school documents, pictures that shows my relationship with my mom. We already did the DNA test which was the last requirement from the embassy. When I took a peak in the documents through the diagonal cut, the DNA result was there inside the packet. My concern now is with the documents outside the packet. Does anyone here have the same situation with me? Thank you! :)

I bet they have taken copies of all the original documents you brought them and put those copies inside the package and returned the originals to you outside of the sealed envelope. You should obviously bring everything with you ro the US since you might need them at a later stage, but for POE you probably just need your visa and sealed envelope.

I got some stuff back too after my K-1 interview, such as certified divorce decree, pictures, etc.

Yes, of course, that's why I said "I got some stuff back". Had they been inside the sealed envelope then I wouldn't get them back, they would've been handed over to CBP at POE.

thank you for your response, I'm just really paranoid when it comes to the visa packet. We've been waiting for my visa for a long time and don't want any delays at POE. :)
