I have created online profiles for both of them and we are at the stage where we have to pay our visa fees. For my fiance, she can add her daughter to her profile as well but does her daughter have to have her own profile still? If I schedule my fiance for an interview, will her daughter have to schedule on her own profile as well or will she be a part of her mother's page? The k2 process is very confusing. I can only find information on the follow to join route but they will both be coming here at the same time. If anyone can help me out with this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

I would appreciate it! We finally were able to scheduke their interview for Sep 11 but they sent us an email about a consular report of birth abroad. Her fathers name isn't on the birth certificate either. When I called the embassy they said they thought I was her father but I told them I was not and they said they would email me soon. Hopefully it isnt required because we cant get it. I will update as I learn more.

I am still waiting  for my daughters  visa. The process  seems  so stressful . I contacted  the embassy  and they said it is not issued yet. I thought  as we applied and interviewed  together  that our visas and passports would be sent together .  This is not the case . Hoping  her CEAC status changes from AP to issued today . Also extra stressed because  Hurricane  Irma looks like hitting  Florida  so probably  have to change travel plans :(

My daughters  visa came today , exactly  two weeks after mine . The CEAC status  stayed on ready for over a week and never changed to AP or issued . We just got notification  of package. Don't  stress when the Visa takes a little  longer :)

Did you get your K1 visa approval  yet ? I got my visa then exactly  2 weeks after mine was in hand I received my daughters. It took 3 weeks  from interview .  We did have to send a new affidavit  of support  and the Dr needed to check a box he missed  on my medical .  The Ceac status  for my daughters  K2 went from AP to ready and remained  on ready even after passport  and Visa were recieved.

I hate to derail thread but since you have been through the process with a k2 visa I wanted to ask.

Did you have to attach an I-134 form for the k2 visa as well??? Or did you just attach one I-134 to the k1 visa and will apply for the k2 visa?

Just had the one 1-134 , My daughters K2 was attached to my K1. When the K2 came I appeared as her petitioner  on her visa not my Fiance . Once the K1 was approved  they accessed my file  to get all relevant  papers for her K2.

We don't have anything in hand yet. However, I got an email yesterday saying my application was approved but I checked CEAC and my fiance's visa still says administrative processing and her daughter's says application received. It's all pretty confusing because they say different things.
