Greetings Guys ..

I would like to thank you all for this informative forums.  My scan date at NVC was july 2nd  2017 now waiting for the CC and interview..  but Guys i have a concern.  My mother was filled a  petition for me and also my brother filled another petition ..so it's like i have two petitions at NVC with two differents Date of birth ( The first birth certicate had a mistake  and we correct it) ...  Do you think at the interview the officer will see that i have two petitions  with different birth certificates?  And ask me questions about it ? What could happen?  Your comments  will be very appreciated ..

What could happen in this case ? What kind of question  they could ask about it ?

My husbands uncle had petitioned for him about 25 years ago right around when he was born. Similarly his DOB in that petition was different due to a birth certificate error. That petition was cancelled a few years later. So when filing for his new petition after we got married we consulted a lawyer to see if that might come up and he said that it will not because the USCIS does not retain records for that long especially because technology wasn't that great back then. I am not sure how things work now or what they might ask. But I do feel that 5 years is kind of recent.
